Reports of a lockdown at the Mokena school Monday are not accurate, administration said.
MOKENA, IL — Reports of a lockdown at St. Mary Catholic School in Mokena Monday were unfounded, staff said.
A medical emergency at the school around 8:30 a.m. prompted local police and fire response, administration said. A lockdown was never implemented.
Reports of a lockdown circulating on social media are false, they said.
