Nude Man Nabbed Twice by Mokena Police

Gerard T. Corbett, 38, was cited for disorderly conduct after Mokena Police found him nude at Main Park on April 23. Police later found Corbett pants-less near the corner of Ashbrooke Lane and Townline Road.

A Mokena man was cited for disorderly conduct on Monday, April 23 after he was taken into custody by police for being nude at and was found later that same day without pants on in public at a different location.

Gerard T. Corbett, 38, of the 12100 block of Heinecke Drive, was seen by a Joliet man and his child exiting the bathroom at Main Park in a white shirt and carrying his pants in his hands.

The Joliet man notified the , who then found Corbett about 150 feet beyond the treeline of the park. Corbett was completely nude when police found him at 7:25 p.m. with his clothes piled up near him and his belt and underwear near the park's bathroom.

According to a police report, Corbett told officers that he was downtown drinking beer and tequila, but could not explain how or why he ended up at the park. He added that he removed his clothes because they were bothering him.

Police took Corbett to the Mokena Police Station, where Corbett asked to have a breath alcohol test performed. The report states that he blew a .089.

Corbett was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a $1,000 I-bond, pending a court appearance on May 9 at the Will County Circuit Court.

At 8:58 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 12000 block of Kent Trail, due to a complaint of a male subject walking along the street, carrying his pants in his hands. Police again found Corbett, this time at the corner of Ashbrook Lane and Townline Road. Police warned Corbett about violating his bond from 40 minutes prior and escorted him home.
