NEW! YOGA FOR CHRONIC PAIN WORKSHOP

Whether it’s occasional aches and pains or daily pain, this transformational yoga series will give you tools to manage stress, increase resilience, and alleviate the symptoms and severity of chronic pain using yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. No yoga experience is needed. Age 18 and over. Preregistration is required.

IT’S RAINING CATS AND DOGS!

It’s Raining Cats and Dogs. When it rains, it pours! But we don’t mind, because it’s raining cats and dogs in this class! Participants will stuff a cat or dog buddy, listen to a rainy-day story, play a game and more. Join us for a downpour of fun! Age 5–12. Preregistration is required.

SPRING SWING BASEBALL CAMP WITH COACH HERNANDEZ

Get ready for the upcoming Baseball season. Our once-a-week camp is perfect for beginners, intermediate and even advanced players to get back into the swing of baseball. All campers will receive professional instruction in hitting, fielding and pitching. Then skill specific training to play games to help every player achieve their goals. Age 6–11. Preregistration is required.

G2VBC INDOOR YOUTH VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY

This 8-week instructional program for children in grades 1­–8 is at The Oaks Recreation & Fitness Center, 10847 La Porte Road, Mokena. Activities are designed for players interested in learning the fundamentals of volleyball and having fun. Student to instructor ratio is 10:1 and all activities are prepared and delivered by G2VBC staff.

• Wednesdays, May 3–June 21, 2023.
• Grades 1–4 meet at 4:30–5:30pm. Grades 5–8: 5:30–6:30pm.
