Shred Your Way To Security
The Mokena Police Department will hold a Community Shred Day on Saturday, April 28. Residents can bring any personal documents to the police department, where authorities will then destroy the items.

Are you worried about your sensitive, personal information falling into the wrong hands? Do you have stacks of bills, bank statements and other valuable information piling up around the house and don't know how to get rid of them safely and securely?
Well fear not, the is set to help residents get rid of all their sensitive information in a safe, secure manner with its Community Shred Day.
Any resident looking to dispose of their private information can go to the police department, 10907 Front St., between noon-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, and the police will shred any and all documents for residents, free of charge. The service is intended to help residents have piece of mind when disposing of their sensitive items.
