Get ready to kick off your Sunday shoes—because Street of Dreams Theatre is bringing the high-energy Broadway musical Footloose to the stage at Lincoln-Way East High School on Saturday, November 8, with performances at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Based on the hit 1984 film, Footloose tells the story of Ren McCormack, a big-city teen who moves to a small town where dancing has been banned. With determination, heart, and a whole lot of rhythm, Ren inspires the town to stand up for joy, freedom, and the power of dance. Featuring classic hits like “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” and the iconic “Footloose,” this show will have audiences dancing in their seats from start to finish.

This Street of Dreams Theatre production features a talented cast of performers who bring passion, talent, and energy to the stage. The production showcases the hard work and creativity of the Street of Dreams Theatre artistic team, including choreography by Rachelle Ochsner, owner of Street of Dreams Dance Studio, whose dynamic routines bring the show’s electrifying dance numbers to life.
