Subway Giving Away 1 Million Subs Tuesday: Get Yours In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — One of the nation's most popular sandwich chains is giving away 1 million free sandwiches Tuesday.

Frankfort residents can grab their free sandwiches at the Subway at 20893 S. LaGrange Road.

Subway said this deal is in celebration of its biggest menu change in 60 years. Last week, Subway revealed a new menu including 12 new signature sandwiches. The new menu is divided into four categories with three sandwiches each.

Starting in the cheesesteak category, Subway is adding, The Philly, The Outlaw and The Monster.

In the chicken category, they're adding The Mexicali, The Great Garlic and The Champ.

In the clubs category, you can order an All-American Club, a Subway Club and a Turkey Cali Club.

If you're feeling like an Italian sandwich, you can order a Supreme Meats, a Bella Mozza or The Boss.

"The Subway Series is the most ambitious undertaking in company history, as we are changing the nearly 60-year-old blueprint that helped make Subway a global phenomenon," President of North America at Subway, Trevor Haynes, said. "Last summer's Eat Fresh Refresh laid the foundation to build a better Subway, and now the Subway Series enhances the entire Subway guest experience."

The sandwich chain also introduced a new ordering system that allows for an expedited experience. Instead of going through the line and picking ingredients, guests can now say and sandwich number or name and size.

Customers can receive a free "Subway Series" sandwich on Tuesday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to noon.
