Wolf Road Bridge To Stay Open Until Spring: IDOT

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to close the bridge again in late March or early April of 2023.

Due to material shortages/supply chain issues which prevent forward progress on construction at this time, the Illinois Department of Transportation has temporarily reopened the Wolf Road bridge over I-80.

MOKENA, IL — Due to material shortages/supply chain issues which prevent forward progress on construction at this time, the Illinois Department of Transportation has temporarily reopened the Wolf Road bridge over Interstate 80.

IDOT plans to close the bridge again in late March or early April of 2023. As an IDOT project, any decisions on future closures and the timing of those closures will be made by IDOT.

The Village will continue to monitor the status of this IDOT project moving forward.
