Woman Killed By Metra Train Friday IDed By Coroner's Office
The Will County Coroner's Office identified the woman Monday as Katrina N. O'Hare of Mokena.

MOKENA, IL — A woman who was struck and killed by a Metra train Friday in Mokena has been identified by the Will County Coroner's Office.
Katrina N. O’Hare, 20, of Mokena, was pronounced dead at 3:09 p.m. Friday, the Will County Coroner's Office announced Monday. O'Hare suffered multiple blunt force injuries, according to an autopsy performed Saturday by the Coroner's Office.
The exact cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police, autopsy and toxicological results, the Coroner's Office said.

The Mokena Police Department and Metra Police Department are investigating the incident.
O'Hare was walking along the section of railroad tracks between the Schoolhouse Road and Front Street crossings in Mokena when she was hit by the train, according to a Metra spokesperson.

This is the second death involving a pedestrian and a Metra train in Mokena in the past month. Orland Park resident John Greenan, 53, was hit and killed by a Metra train Aug. 31 when he was walking along the railroad tracks near 191st Street and LaGrange Road.
