• Manteno, Momence boys win at home, Watseka/Milford girls take 6th straight: Wednesday's Daily Journal Roundup (shawlocal.com) — Momence basketball fans have reason to cheer after the Redskins’ boys team rolled past Wilmington 59–35 at home, their fourth win in five games behind 20 points from Erick Castillo and 17 from D’Angelo Hundley. The roundup also notes Manteno’s bounce-back victory and a sixth straight win for the Watseka/Milford girls squad.
