Boulder Hill Shooting Was Isolated Incident, Sheriff Says In Update
A residence and several cars were struck by gunfire following a shooting May 19 in unincorporated Montgomery.

MONTGOMERY, IL — The shooting that occurred May 19 in the Boulder Hill neighborhood is believed to have been isolated and targeted, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said in an update.
There is "no known specific threat to the community at this time," officials said.
Detectives identified a vehicle, consistent with a blue Hyundai Elantra, that they believe to have been involved in the incident.

Deputies from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office responded at about 7:35 p.m. to the 0-99 block of Fernwood Road in the Boulder Hill neighborhood after receiving a report of the shooting.

No one was shot, and no injuries were reported, but a residence and several cars were struck by gunfire, Patch reported.
