• 'Skilton Way' In Montgomery Honors Retired Oswego Library Executive Director (patch.com) — Montgomery has dedicated an honorary “Skilton Way” street sign to celebrate retired Oswego Public Library District executive director Sarah Skilton, whose leadership brought a library branch to 1111 Reading Drive and future plans downtown. Village officials praised her decades of service and introduced new director Krista Katzen, emphasizing continued support for literacy and community connections in Montgomery.
   

• Montgomery honors its first woman village president with street dedication (shawlocal.com) — Montgomery has renamed part of River Street as “Michelini Way” to honor longtime village president Marilyn Michelini, the first woman to hold the role. Speakers highlighted how she guided explosive residential growth, attracted major retailers along Ogden, and oversaw construction of the current Village Hall and police station, shaping much of modern Montgomery.
