Major Damage In Manufacturing Facility Fire

MONTGOMERY, IL — Oswego Fire Protection Officials said a Montgomery manufacturing facility sustained major roof damage in a Wednesday morning fire.

Firefighters responded to the facility in the 200 block of Route 31 around 11:30 a.m. and found a fire in the ceiling. Fire crews were able to get the blaze under control by around 1:30 p.m.

Officials said no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and officials did not have a damage estimate.
