Man Who Threatened Circuit Court Judge Appended In Montgomery: Sheriff
The Montgomery man, 50, left a pair of voicemails allegedly making threats toward a 13th Judicial Circuit Court judge, according to reports.

MONTGOMERY, IL — A Montgomery man accused of threatening a 13th Judicial Circuit Court judge was apprehended and charged with two felonies, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
Joseph Urso, 50, is facing charges of threatening a public official and intimidation, both felonies carrying terms of two to five years in prison.
According to Shaw Local, Urso left two voicemails for a LaSalle County judge on Dec. 16, identifying himself and providing what prosecutors described as "unique details" of the case.

"It needs to end now," the person said in the call, which was traced back to Urso, Shaw Local reported. "If it doesn't there’s going to be a problem and a piece of paper won't stop me."
The LaSalle County Sheriff's Office alerted the Kendall County Sheriff's Office of the warrant on Dec. 17.

Due to the nature of the arrest warrant, members of the sheriff's office worked with the Kendall County Special Response Team and the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team to apprehend Urso on Dec. 18.
"Urso was ultimately taken into custody safely and without incident," Kendall County officials said.
Urso was taken to the Kendall County jail before he was transferred to the LaSalle County jail for further legal proceedings.
