Montgomery Food Truck Fest Returns For 3rd Year: See The Lineup

MONTGOMERY, IL — Food trucks will gather along the Fox River Saturday for the third annual year as part of the Montgomery Street Eats Festival.

More than 10 food trucks are slated to take part in the event happening from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 301 N. River St. The fest is organized by Brew Avenue Events in partnership with the Village of Montgomery.

While DJ Pearl spin beats, visitors can grab bites to eat from the various vendors as well as drinks at a beer garden. So far, the following food trucks are scheduled to participate:

• Burrito Xpress
• Culinary Gangster (until 4 p.m.)
• Frankie's Restaurant
• Grumpy Gaucho (after 1 p.m.)
• Happy Lobster Truck
• Hawaiian Food Truck
• My Funnel Truck
• My Mama's Mini Donuts
• Savory Crust
• Serna's Grill Food
• Sporty's Food Truck
• The Taco Shop on Wheels
• Tickle My Tamale

A portion of all proceeds will benefit two local nonprofits, The Montgomery Foundation and Veterans Smile.

Free parking will be available near Montgomery Park, along Mill and Main streets, and at lots at 310 N. River St., 200 N. River St. If those fill up, visitors should scout for spots in the immediate downtown riverside area.

The same company is planning to host a food truck festival in Plainfield ahead of the village's fireworks show July 3, Patch reported.
