• Home Invasion Charge Issued For Plano Man Who Also Damaged Property: Montgomery Police (patch.com) — Montgomery police say a Plano man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly damaging property and later trying to enter a home on the 3300 block of Pecos Circle. Officers arrested 32-year-old Jalen K. Ruff when he returned to the residence, and he now remains in the Kendall County jail awaiting a Jan. 20 court date.
   

• Naperville Police Arrests for Jan. 2-5 (chicagotribune.com) — Naperville police reports from Jan. 2–5 include the arrest of a 48-year-old Montgomery resident on traffic and open-alcohol charges near Route 59 and Liberty Street. The blotter also lists several DUI, warrant, and license-related arrests involving residents from nearby suburbs.
