Person IDed In Montgomery 'Suspicious' Death Investigation: Coroner

The Kendall County Coroner's Office identified the person found unresponsive in an apartment on Reading Drive as a 42-year-old man.

MONTGOMERY, IL — The Kendall County Coroner's Office identified the person who was found unresponsive in a Reading Drive apartment as a 42-year-old Montgomery man.

Montgomery police responded to the unit in the 1100 block of Reading Drive at about 1:18 p.m. Monday. Coroner's deputies pronounced Joshua Correa dead at the scene, officials said.

Police launched an investigation into the incident, which they labeled as "suspicious." Officials said Monday there was no immediate threat to the public.

Correa's cause of death is pending autopsy and further investigation by the Kendall County Coroner's Office and the Montgomery Police Department, officials said.
