Police Blotter: Man Falls Asleep Behind Wheel, Nets DUI Charge

Apolinar Marquez-Ortiz, 33 of the 900 block of Palace Street, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 4:40 a.m. Nov. 11 at Route 30 and Hill Avenue, police said.

Reports state police found Marquez-Ortiz asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle stopped in traffic.

He was also issued a citation for no insurance, police said.
