Runner From Montgomery Completes 2018 Boston Marathon
A local woman represented the village at the Boston Marathon.

The 122nd running of the Boston Marathon was held Monday, April 16. In Boston, Patriots Day has grown to take on a larger meaning as one of the great days of sport and human triumph. Runners from across the globe flocked to be tested by the 26.2-mile course from the Hopkinton start line to the famous Boylston Street finish line.
Montgomery was one of the many villages from across the globe that was represented in the big race. There's one runner from town who finished the race.

Paula Brewer, 42, was assigned to Wave 3, Corral 4 of the race. That means she started around 9:50 a.m. Central time. She wore Bib #19782 and her time was 04:21:28.
