Sleeping Victim Was Followed Home By Aurora Stalker: Kendall County Sheriff
The Aurora man, 35, is facing several felony charges, including for stalking, residential burglary and aggravated assault.

MONTGOMERY, IL — An Aurora man was apprehended July 2 in unincorporated Montgomery in connection with a residential burglary and attempted sexual assault case, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office launched an investigation into Eduardo Hernandez-Maravillo, 35, after receiving a report June 8 "of an individual found inside a residence" in the 0-100 block of Cypress Drive in unincorporated Bristol Township.
After interacting with Hernandez-Maravillo earlier in the evening, the victim returned home and was followed to their residence, where the Aurora man entered and approached the victim, who was asleep, officials said.

"The victim awoke after the suspect made physical contact, and he fled from the residence," the sheriff's office wrote in a news release.
The Kendall County State's Attorney's Office approved the following felony charges against Hernandez-Maravillo, of the 1900 block of Heather Drive in Aurora. A warrant was issued for his arrest on June 13.

- One count of attempted criminal sexual assault

- Two counts of criminal trespass to a residence
- One count of stalking
- One count of aggravated battery
The U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Hernandez-Maravillo with help from the Aurora Police Department and the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team.
Hernandez-Maravillo was taken to the sheriff's office for processing and remains in custody awaiting a pre-trial detention hearing.
