2 Joliet Women Charged With Retail Theft In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Two Joliet women were arrested in Naperville Monday after police say they stole items from the Dick's Sporting Goods on 75th Street.

Kionni Simmons, 22, was charged with felony retail theft and felony burglary. Ada Jane Gregory, 25, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft.

Police were called to the store in the 2700 block of W. 75th St. around 8:50 p.m. for a report of a retail theft. An employee told police that the pair had been concealing items. When Simmons and Gregory exited the store, an alarm was triggered, and they were arrested by a police officer who had been on the premises.

Both Simmons and Gregory were released after they were taken into custody.
