3 Businesses Sold Tobacco Products To Minors In Naperville: PD
Police evaluated 84 Naperville businesses in their most recent tobacco compliance check.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Three businesses were cited for selling tobacco products to minors during a recent tobacco compliance check, according to Naperville police.
In total, 84 businesses were visited as part of the compliance check. The following businesses received citations after being accused of selling tobacco or vape products to shoppers under the age of 21:
- Delta Sonic, 1780 N. Aurora Rd.
- Smokes N Vapes, 760 N. Rte. 59
- Smokey Bros, 2811 Patriots Ln.
The Naperville Police Department uses grant money from the Illinois Department of Human Services Tobacco Enforcement Program to educate businesses about age limits for buying tobacco and alternative nicotine products. Businesses are given informational packets and reminded of the importance of verifying a customer's age before selling nicotine products
