Adopt Me: Cuddly Couch Potatoes Seek Homes

Every week Naperville Patch shares information on adoptable pets waiting for homes at the Naperville Area Humane Society and Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment.

Gracie is a 3-year-old female Terrier mix that was a shelter transfer due to lack of space.  She is a very gentle girl who loves to go for walks and snuggle next to her human friends.  As she can be a bit shy and sensitive, kids in her new home should be at least 8 years of age.  She does get along with other dogs, but would do best with a dog her own size and who is on the calm side.  She would also do well with a cat. Gracie is patiently waiting for her forever home.  Could that be with you?

Molly is a 4-year-old female domestic shorthair that was surrendered due to someone in her previous home having allergies.  She is a friendly and social girl who likes to be petted and is very playful.  She has lived with another cat, but dogs are unknown to her.  She can be shy when there is too much activity around, so kids in her new home should be at least 5 years of age.  She is currently greeting customers in the front office Stop by soon to meet Molly!

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society.  All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped.  They are spayed and neutered at adoption.  Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.  Visit us at 1620 W. Diehl Road in Naperville or online at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
