Cocoa Puff

Cocoa Puff is a 1-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier mix who was transferred to NAHS from a shelter in Oklahoma.  It will take you less than second to see how sweet she is.  Just one look into her deep eyes is sure to warm your heart. Cocoa Puff has quickly become a favorite of staff and volunteers at NAHS due to her loving and shy nature.  She would love to have a patient family who is willing to show her the world isn’t a scary place.  She gets along well with most other dogs and wouldn’t mind living with a cat either.  Kids in her new home should be old enough to know that she mayt be shy and nervous at first, but will quickly warm up once she gets settled.  After a rough beginning, Cocoa Puff deserves a loving home – could it be with you?

Magoo

Magoo is a 3 ½-year old female domestic shorthair.  She’s looking for a quiet spot to curl up and spend her days lounging – possibly your lap?  Magoo isn’t a fan of loud, noisy places and would prefer to be the only animal in your home.  Because Magoo can be shy and easily stressed, she would do best in a home with older children.  She will need to take an inexpensive prescription pill once-a-day for the rest of her life, but will gladly eat it up in some canned food. It helps keep her dermatitis (pillow foot) away.  Life in the shelter is hard for Magoo, are you the right family to provide her with a loving home?
