Ba Le Sandwiches Aims For 2026 Opening In Naperville

Ba Le will be part of the 141,000 square foot Riverbrook Shopping Center at 1523 North Aurora Rd.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Ba Le Sandwiches is among the businesses set to open in Naperville's Riverbrook Shopping Center in 2026, according to the restaurant's website. The eatery specializes in banh mi served up on baguettes that are baked in-house daily, along with other Vietnamese favorites.

The menu at Ba Le features classic, vegetarian and vegan banh mi. The sandwich selection includes roasted pork belly, shredded Vietnamese-style chicken, veggie avocado and vegan tofu, eggplant and mango sauce.

Diners can also choose from Vietnamese dishes like shrimp noodle salad, beef brisket soup and pork chop rice.

Ba Le also offers fresh fruit smoothies, iced coffee and seven different specialty vegan desserts.

The first Ba Le in the U.S. opened in 1982 in California. A second location opened in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood in 1988. Since then, Ba Le has expanded to include a store in Rockville, Maryland and upcoming openings in Rolling Meadows and Schaumburg, in addition to Naperville.
