Adopt Me! Linn, Tyson, Tilly, Freud

Considering bringing a warm, furry pet into your home? Take a look at these pets who are looking for new homes.

Naperville Area Humane Society

Freud

Freud is a 3-year-old black and white male domestic shorthair.  He came to NAHS when his owner had to suddenly move and couldn’t take him along.  While waiting for a new home, Freud is living in the NAHS lobby and making sure all the staff and volunteers get lots of snuggles and kisses.  Freud loves listening to your problems and helping you to analyze your dreams.  He wouldn’t mind sharing a home with other cats or dogs and would be find living with kids of any age.  Such a perfect kitty will hopefully be adopted soon, so come meet Freud today!

Tilly

Tilly is a female 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix.  She came to NAHS when the small children she lived with were just too much for her.  Because Tilly can become nervous around commotion, she would do best in a home with kids at least 12-years-old.  Tilly has quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers due to her sweet demeanor and playful personality.  She would prefer to be an only pet and would be a perfect companion to somebody looking for a friendly, outgoing dog.  Tilly has been waiting for a forever home since Aug. 24, 2011, can you be the family to show her there’s more to life than living in a shelter?

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Diehl Rd. in Naperville or online at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
