Aggravated Assault; Possession of Cannabis: Naperville Police Blotter

Naperville Police Department reports, Sept. 12

Thursday, Sept. 12 

Possession of cannabis

Kelrod R. Leaks, 34, of Montgomery, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. near 8th Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Suspended/revoked license

  • Juan C. Ramirez-Gonzalez, 18, of Naperville, was arrested at 1:35 p.m. near Route 59 and Cantore Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 
  • Shawonda L. Taylor, 34, of Oswego, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. near Fairway Drive and Campbell Drive, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. She posted bond. 

DUI

Ruth M. Erdemir, 57, of Batavia, was arrested at 6:34 p.m. in the 5000 block of Ace Lane, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 

Aggravated assault

Ashley Shardae Thomas, 27, of Oswego, was arrested at 6:47 p.m. in the 1700 block of Brookdale Road, police said. She was charged with aggravated assault. She posted bond. 

Faceplate stolen

A JVC stereo faceplate was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of South Birchwood Drive, police said.
