Arranmore Center Announces Summer Concert Series

If outdoor music under summer skies rocks your world, look to (ACA) Cabernet Cabaret Concert Series for another season of song. 

“ACA is thrilled to be back with another season of Cabernet Cabaret this summer,” says founder and president, Shannon Greene Robb.  “Last year’s concerts were so well-received that we’ve added another date this time around.”  

Cabernet Cabaret concerts are set for Saturday, June 9; Saturday, July 14; and Friday, Sept. 7. All of the concerts will be performed on the lawn at Arranmore Farm in Oswego. 

The June 9 concert, aptly named Cabernet Cabaret: First Fling, features the return of popular Cabernet Cabaret artists to perform audience requests and dedications.

“We thought letting the Cabernet Cabaret audience create their own playlist was the perfect way to show our gratitude for last year’s off-the-charts response,” said ACA artistic director, Lara Fillip, who notes that they’ve already received many requests that the audience will instantly recognize as those ‘perfect summer songs.’

To put your request in, just visit the ACA website or Facebook page and let performers know your favorite, feel-good summertime tunes.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m., but you’ll want to buy tickets in advance and get there early to claim your perfect lawn spot. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.arranmorearts.org or at ticket locations listed on the site.

Pack your preferred picnic fare and lawn gear and get ready to set up on the Arranmore grounds for an all-request season opener.
