NAPERVILLE, IL — A man was taken into custody following an hours-long barricade situation in Naperville Sunday evening.

Officers were called to the 100 block of South Ellsworth around 5 p.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance. Police say the man threatened others inside the residence before barricading himself inside.

Naperville Police Commander Michaus Williams told Patch the man gave himself up to police after about five hours and was taken into custody.
