Business Offers a Prescription for Improved Cognitive Skills

With the kids out of school, summer is the time when it’s easy to forget everything learned over the course of the year.

A new business in town is ready to help children improve their cognitive skills and address the “root cause” for those students who struggle to learn in school. But, it doesn’t limit its services to children. Even adults can benefit.

LearningRx opened its first brain training center in Illinois at 630 E. Ogden Ave. The company has 80 centers around the country, but this is the first in Illinois. 

The company helps children and adults overcome lifelong struggles with learning, according to . Among the programs offered are those geared to homework help, reading programs and testing for learning disabilities.
