NAPERVILLE, IL — The DuPage County Coroner positively identified a body found in Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve in mid-August as that of Olasinmibo "Sinmi" Abosede. Abosede, 46, a mother, wife and engineer from Naperville, was reported missing on July 30.

Coroner Judith Lukas said in a news release that Abosede was identified via dental records. Abosede's cause of death was not available as of Monday, as the "cause and manner of death are pending further studies," Lukas wrote.

After Abosede disappeared in late July, Naperville police launched a large-scale search of the forest preserve, which is near her home. Abosede's body was located through an area dense with tall grass around 2 p.m. on Aug. 14. Police said it appeared the body was Abosede, but had been awaiting Lukas's confirmation.
