NAPERVILLE, IL — Freezing rains and slick roads prompted an e-learning day for students of Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204 Tuesday.
A winter weather advisory was in effect for the greater Chicago area until 9 a.m. Tuesday. The weather threatened to bring ice accumulation that could lead to tree damage and power outages, according to the National Weather Service.
