Firefighters Extinguish Fire in Garage of Naperville Home

Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire contained to a three car garage of a Naperville home within several minutes, according to the fire department.

A fire caused about $30,000 in damage to a home in central Naperville Tuesday morning.

No one was injured in the fire, which was contained inside a three car garage of a home at 1013 Elizabeth Ave. Firefighters responded to the scene around 6:42 a.m. Tuesday after the homeowner called 911, according to the Naperville Fire Department. 

Crews arrived within five minutes, bringing 10 emergency vehicles and 26 fire personnel to the scene, according to the fire department.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire within several minutes, according to the fire department. 

The cause of the fire was accidental and estimated damage is $30,000. 

The Naperville Fire Department was assisted by the Naperville Police Department, ATF, Naperville Building Department, DuPage County Fire Investigation Task Force, and Nicor, according to the fire department.
