Guide To West Suburban Irish Parade, St. Paddy's Day 5K In Naperville
The 2024 West Suburban Irish Parade steps off March 9. Here's what to know about the beloved event.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The 2024 West Suburban Irish Parade is set to bring a sea of green to Naperville on March 9.
The popular event promises to bring thousands of spectators to the city, with Naperville Mayor Scott Wehrli serving as the grand marshal.
Participants will gather at Naperville North High School and step off at 10 a.m., making their way south on Mill Street before heading east on Jefferson Avenue. The parade will then head south on Main Street before coming to a close at Naperville Central High School.

St. Paddy's Day 5K Race
Before the parade, runners will take part in the St. Paddy's Day 5K race, which is hosted by Naperville Running Co. and benefits local charities. Participants are encouraged to wear St. Patrick's-inspired attire for a chance to win $100 in the event's costume contest.

Road Closures
The events will cause road closures along the parade route from 7:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with parking prohibited from 5 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
