Laundry Room Fire Displaces Family From Naperville Home
The blaze broke out late Saturday afternoon in a home in the 2900 block of Saganashkee Lane.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A family was displaced from their townhome on Saganashkee Lane Saturday after a fire started in their laundry room.
Firefighters were called to the 2900 block of Saganashkee Lane after residents noticed smoke coming from the laundry room of the two-story residence. When fire crews got to the scene, they found smoke and flames inside the home, coming from the laundry room. The blaze was brought under control within 10 minutes, according to Naperville fire officials.
The home's gas was shut off due to the fire, rendering the house uninhabitable. In total, it's estimated the fire caused $25,000 in damage.
