Letter: Naperville Firefighters Local 4302 Endorse Hinterlong, Habel, Krummen for City Council

Over the past three months, the Naperville Professional Firefighters have been engaged in a familiarization process with the 11 candidates in the running for this year’s city council election.

Upon completion of this process, the Naperville Professional Firefighters have chosen to endorse, Paul Hinterlong, Bill Habel and John Krummen for Naperville City Council.

As part of the process, candidates were invited to complete a questionnaire, engage in face-to-face, one-on-one discussions and finally, to participate in an open forum.Candidates were evaluated based on their participation and performance in each stage of the process.

Key to a healthy relationship between the professional firefighters, the government and the citizens of Naperville is an open and consistent communication. The Naperville Professional Firefighters are thankful for the willingness and professional manner in which each candidate engaged in the process.
