To the editor:
In regard to the against the protested fertility treatment opening near the downtown area in Naperville. Well in short, shame on her.
It's sad to know that for the 29 months she and her husband have tried to conceive, that she feels creating a life through in vitro is manufactured! How disgusting and disgraceful. She feels someone else is playing God in bringing a life into this world. Her religion feels its wrong? Why? Did God tell her that? Is the term In Vitro used in the bible? I know its not, because I attended a private school for all my formidable years.

Through my course of infertility, I myself tried to conceive naturally. I tried vitamins and taking daily ovulation tests. Reading articles on special foods to eat, removing alcohol from my diet, limited caffeine...until I heard of Dr. Randy Morris. Within 2 months of meeting with him, I was pregnant. My infertility didn't fall into the column of using In Vitro, but I have been touched by the stories of this process from many family, friends and clients in my life. The blessing of a new life growing inside a mother’s belly is a blessing and shouldn't be referred to as manufactured. No matter how the child blessed your life, again its a blessing...its a blessing that I am here...with my beautiful 14-month-old son by my side.
I hope Mr. and Mrs. Brummond are not disappointed when seeking out the adoption process. As great as this option is for couples as well, again – it’s a cold, long and miserable process. It's expensive and emotional on any couple. Our world doesn't make this process any easier to give people options to choose from. Also, I have close friends who have adopted and are too blessed with beautiful children in their lives that took years to bring home.

I wish that Mrs. Brummond could meet my son and I welcome her to contact me at any time and hear in detail our story and struggle for a family. My son is a blond hair, brown-eyed child that enriches our life every day. He is kind and sweet. And even at 14 months of age, he knows how to share, gives hugs and kisses. He loves our animals and the swings at the park. I do not understand what is so manufactured about that? It's a blessing from God that I cherish every day. He's perfect!
God bless Dr. Morris and his staff for my miracle.
Sincerely,
Susie and Bob O'Connor
