Hello, my name is Aiste Reynoso. My baby boy, Persey, got diagnosed with nasal lymphoma, a type of cancer. The tumor is deforming his face and causing breathing issues. He is 9 years young and the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. Prior to cancer diagnosis he was a healthy, happy boy. The oncologist told me that radiation treatment would shrink the tumor and kill cancer cells. He can have a good quality of life with the treatment. I am begging you to help me save him. I cannot afford the treatment. I have experienced work retaliation from my employer and lost my job. Just recently I found work again as a caregiver for elderly. My parents and few friends that I have cannot help me due to their own financial struggle. Radiation sessions need to start ASAP so that the cancer does not spread. Persey is my life, I love him so much, he is my family. Please, please, please, words cannot express how much your help means to me.

WINFIELD, IL — A Naperville couple are the proud parents of the first baby born at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Lily DeCarlo, who was due Jan. 19, surprised her parents, Ana and Anthony DeCarlo, arriving at 11:47 a.m. on Jan. 1. Lily weighed in at six pounds, eight ounces and measures 19.5 inches in length. Her mother, Ana, works at the hospital as a lung transplant nurse. Lily is the couple's first child.
