More than $50,000 in Tools Stolen in Construction Site Burglaries

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information in a series of construction site burglaries.

Since October 2011 more than $50,000 in construction materials have been stolen from a number of construction sites around . Police are seeking help from the public to find the individuals who have committed the crimes.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to arrests in the burglaries, said in a news release Friday. The most recent incidents took place overnight Feb. 29 and March 1. 

Police said that there have been eight burglaries and the theft of two construction trailers, resulting in the loss of more than $50,000 in power tools. The crimes typically occur overnight and construction trailers and vans are targeted.
