Naperville Dealerships Lose Six Cars to Thieves in 24 Hours
Thieves brazenly stole two cars that were being washed

Six luxury cars were stolen from Naperville car dealerships within 24 hours earlier this week, according to the Naperville Sun.
On Tuesday, workers were washing a two QX60s at the Infiniti of Naperville dealership when three men walked onto the lot and drove away in the two cars.
"They had a mission. They walked right up, got right in the cars and left like they owned them," Mike Korallus, general manager of the dealership, told the Naperville Sun. "It was like in the movies. Everyone froze. Everybody was just in shock and disbelief. It was pretty brazen."

Around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Naperville police found a 2013 Land Rover abandoned at the intersection of Rickert Drive and Book Road. They discovered that it was one of four vehicles stolen from the Naperville Jaguar dealership. The other vehicles were stolen after thieves broke into a maintenance area were a 2016 Jaguar, a 2012 Land Rover and an older model car.
We don't have evidence or proof that these two crimes are related, but we're investigating the possibility that they are," Naperville Police Commander Lou Cammiso told the Naperville Sun. "It appears to be mostly people with the same idea. There isn't any kind of organized group that's responsible, that I know of." Cammiso also noted that similar crimes have occurred throughout the Chicago area.
