Naperville Fugitive Captured By U.S. Marshal, Sheriff's Office

A regional fugitive task force apprehended the Naperville man Friday. He had been on the run for almost a month for drug possession.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office says it apprehended a Naperville fugitive Friday after he spent nearly a month on the lam. Working with the United States Marshals Service as part of the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, local law enforcement officers captured 22-year-old Thomas Gorski, of Naperville, in the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive.

Gorski had been wanted for possession of a controlled substance, according to a press release, and had been on the run since Dec. 17.

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reminded citizens to call CrimeStoppers at 630-553-5999 if they know the whereabouts of any fugitives. Callers can remain anonymous and my be eligible for a reward. The department also posts a fugitive of the week on Facebook every Friday.
