Naperville Has 3 Armed Robberies In 2 Days: Police
7-Eleven, a pizza delivery man and an ATM user were all robbed at gunpoint this week.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Police have responded to three armed robberies in the past two days. The first occurred Monday around 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of Hobson Road. There, the victim and his passenger had just used an ATM the the Chase Bank when an armed suspect jumped in front of their car and motioned for it to stop. According to a press release from Cmdr. Louis Cammiso, the suspect entered the vehicle through the rear driver's side door and demanded money, then fled on foot. He didn't have much of a description, other than the dark clothes he was wearing.
The second reported armed robbery also occurred Monday at around 10 p.m. in the 3300 block of South Route 59. A pizza delivery driver was approached by an armed white man who demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot to an unknown make sedan. No one was injured in this incident. He's described as six feet tall with a thin build wearing dark clothing.
Another armed robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven on Diehl Road and Route 59 Tuesday evening just before 8:30. Officers said two men entered the store, one with a handgun, and demanded money. They fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money, traveling south. No one was injured. Both of the suspects are black men. The first man was around six feet tall with a thin build, and wore dark clothing with a mask and a handgun. The second suspect was described as five-foot-eight, medium build, also wearing dark clothing.

Naperville Police Department is looking for information. The investigations Division can be reached at 630-420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.
Cmdr. Cammiso is reminding residents to be aware of their surroundings at all times and report suspicious individuals or incidents to police immediately. Police say if someone is confronted with an armed offender, the person is encouraged to comply with all demands and not do anything that would jeopardize their personal safety.
