Naperville Man Jailed on Murder Charge

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man was arrested on murder and other charges early Monday morning.

Steven Karpinski, 40, was booked into the Will County jail shortly before 4 a.m. on charges of murder, aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, possessing a weapon as a felon, domestic battery and interfering with a report of domestic battery.

The Aurora police arrested Karpinski, according to jail records. Spokesman Dan Ferrelli said information on Karpinski’s case will be provided later Monday.

Karpinski’s home address on Denison Road is the same as that of Steve’s Gutter Cleaning, according to the Better Business Bureau. A phone message left at the business was not returned Monday morning.
