Naperville RadioShack Hit By Armed Robbers, Police Chase Ensues

Police said three men armed with a handgun stole items from a northeast Naperville Radio Shack Monday.

Police are investigating an armed robbery of a RadioShack in northeast Naperville. 

Police said three men entered a RadioShack, 1223 E. Ogden Avenue, at 6:30 p.m. Monday armed with a handgun and demanded an unknown amount of merchandise from employees before fleeing the store, according to the Naperville Police Department. 

A high-speed chase then ensued on the I-290 expressway, leading police to the west side of Chicago, according to CBS 2 Chicago and the Inter-State Consolidated Emergency Reporting Network

The men are described as black males and a gray Volvo was the focus of the chase, CBS Chicago reports. 

Police said the possible suspect vehicle was found on the west side of Chicago near 15th Street and Kolin Avenue.  

No injuries were reported and police are currently investigating the armed robbery.
