Naperville Running Company, Park District Partner For Snow Removal

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Park District recently joined forces with Naperville Running Company on an eight-year agreement to handle snow removal along a two-mile trail.

The trail, located in south Naperville, extends from the pedestrian bridge at Route 59 to Naperville-Plainfield Road, cutting through Ashbury Park and Greenway, a news release said. Staff from the Naperville Park District will handle the snow removal and the park district will be reimbursed by Naperville Running Company.

“We want to thank Naperville Running Company for their long-standing support of our staff’s work in clearing a popular trail for winter running,” Park District Executive Director Brad Wilson said in a statement.
