Naperville Woman one of two Arrested for DUI in Lisle Early Thursday Morning

A Naperville woman was arrested near I-355 early Thursday morning

On Thursday just before 3 a.m., Christine H. Grant, a 50-year-old from Naperville, was arrested by the Lisle Police Department for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a department press release. Grant was stopped and arrested on the 2900 block of Maple Ave. She was also cited for improper lane usage, expired registration, and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. Grant was released on bond, and she has a court hearing in March.

Just few hours earlier on the same road, Lisle police arrested Tomasz Augustynek for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was stopped and arrested at the intersection of Maple Ave and East Lake Drive. The 37-year-old Lisle man was also charged with driving with a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol and obstructing a peace officer. Augustynek was released on bond, and he has a court hearing in March.
