New Restaurants, Bars Popping Up in Naperville

Some are open now, while others will be opening soon.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Tired of the same old restaurants and bars in the area? Here are a few new ones either open now or opening soon, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Everdine’s Grilled Cheese Co. opened Nov. 16. Specializing in grilled cheese sandwiches, the new business is located at 24 W. Jefferson Street. It is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Board & Barrel will feature “Chicago-inspired, chef-driven appetizers and sandwiches,” according to the Tribune. It will also have beer and cocktails. It should open in early 2017.

Restaurant goers can now try out The Craftsman, which features a three-level cafe, restaurant and bar. According to its website, it is “a multi-level dining establishment incorporating a market café, a farm-to-table modern tavern restaurant and a cocktail bar featuring high-end handmade cocktails.” It has been open since September, but a grand opening will be held this weekend. It is located at 16 W. Jefferson.

More restaurants are expected to open in Naperville’s Water Street District in early 2017, according to the Tribune.
