Police Blotter: Car Keyed, Window Broken, Driving Under the Influence

Stolen property

Ladora S. McCool, 38, of the 2900 block of Woodside Drive in Joliet, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. at Menards, 715 Fort Hill Drive, police said. She was charged with possession of stolen property. Her bail was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

Terence Michael Fenelon, 57, of the 2000 block of Springside Drive, was arrested at 6:49 p.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Criminal damage

  • A 66-year-old man in the 2100 block of Riverlea Circle reported that someone damaged his mailbox overnight, police said.
  • A 46-year-old man in the 1400 block of West Ogden Avenue reported that a black Toyota Tacoma pick-up had a side window shattered between Jan. 21 and Monday. Nothing was taken, police said.
  • A 35-year-old man in the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive had his vehicle keyed overnight, police said.

Internet investigation

A 54-year-old woman in the 2100 block of Templar Drive reported that someone hacked into her e-mail account between Dec. 30 and Monday, police said.

Criminal defacement

A 36-year-old woman in the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive reported that someone wrote a racial slur on her front door sometime overnight, police said. 

Disorderly conduct

A 14-year-old in the 1200 block of Banbury Circle was reported to police related to discharging a pellet gun, police said. There were no injuries or damage.
