Driving under the influence

  • Robert Curtis Petit, 40, of the 5500 block of Bergamot Lane, was arrested at 12:39 a.m. in the 2800 block of Lobelia Circle, according to reports. Police said he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions. Police reports said he was driving east on Lobelia Circle at a high rate of speed when his vehicle skidded around a corner, left the road and hit a tree. His bail was $3,000.
  • John Bart Reeves, 25, of the 1600 block of Kiowa Drive, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. at South Naper Boulevard and Alton Court, police said. He was charged with driving without insurance, failing to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Allowing a DUI

Police said Allison Rae Muller, 22, of the 1600 block of Kiowa Drive, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. at South Naper Boulevard and Alton Court and charged with allowing a person driving under the influence to operate a vehicle. Her bond was $120.

Criminal damage

A 60-year-old man in the 1800 block of Clyde Drive reported his mailbox and the post were smashed April 29, police said. He reported a neighbor heard a noise at 2:14 a.m. and heard people running.
