Police Blotter: Possession of Cannabis, Vanishing Act, Crafty Thief
Naperville Police Department reports, June 8-10

Identity theft
Vincent Tracy English, 45, of the 14600 block of South Spaulding Road in Harvey, was arrested at 2:33 p.m. in the 2800 block of Aurora Avenue, said. He was charged with identity theft, forgery and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
No driver's license
Jacob Emmanuel Arnold, 22, of the 1100 block of West Maggie Lane in Romeoville, was arrest at 10:45 p.m. in the first block of West Van Buren Avenue, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license and no rear registration. His bond was $1,500.
Fleeing from police
Shanin Karimi, 21, of the 2400 block of Wild Timothy Road, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with fleeing police and reckless driving. His bail was $5,000.

Theft
Deandre Jovon Gray, 27, of the 2900 block of 141st Street in Blue Island, was arrested at 2:33 p.m. in the 2800 block of Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged with theft. His bond was $150.
Driving under the influence
- Casey Warner Erwin, 24, of the 2800 block of Shelly Lane in aurora, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. near La Fox Avenue and Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and following too close. Her bail was $3,000.
- David Peter Kunka, 42, of the 22600 block of Marine Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 12:37 a.m. near 95th Street and Route 59, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, not wearing a seat belt, speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
Deceptive practice
Howard Richmond, 51, of the 2900 block of Brossman Street, was arrested at 8:16 a.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with deceptive practice and conspiracy.

Pump and run
Someone drove off stealing 20.004 gallons of regular gas worth $78 from pump number 5 in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road, police said.
That wasn't there before
A resident found a small amount of cannabis under his vehicle in his driveway in the 2900 block of White Thorn Circle, police said.
Fake ID
Someone presented a fake ID to a doorman in the first block of West Chicago Avenue, police said.
Property damage
- A mailbox was knocked a the post in the 1100 block of Johnson Drive, police said.
- A driver-side rear window of a vehicle was smashed in the 600 block of Center Street, police said.
Vehicle burglarized
A vehicle was burglarized in the 900 block of Stonehenge Court, police said.
Stolen property
A trailer hitch was stolen off a truck in the 1600 block of North Aurora Road, police said.
Burglary
A house was burglarized after someone forced open a locked rear sliding door in the 1500 block of Shenandoah Lane, police said.
Lost dogs
- A dog from Aurora was reported lost to Naperville police.
- Two dogs from Bolingbrook were reported lost to Naperville police.
GPS stolen
Someone stole a Gamin Nuvi GPS from a glove compartment inside an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Anne Road, police said.
Pepper sprayed
Someone was sprayed with pepper spray in the 100 block of Testa Drive, police said.
Saturday, June 9Warrant arrest
- Safura Ahmed Hajera, 21, of the 1200 block of Edinburgh Court in Wheaton, was arrested at 8:44 p.m. near 95th Street and Route 59, police said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bond was $1,000.
- Nichole Sharee Baines, 32, of the 2300 block of Hudson Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Aurora Road, police said. She was charged on two failure-to-appear warrants. Her bail was $5,000.
- Joshua Francisco Andrade, 23, of the 1500 block of Liberty Street in Aurora, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. near North Aurora Road and North Route 59, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $2,000.
No driver's license
Gilberto Ramirez-Garcia, 23, of the 900 block of Elizabeth Street in West Chicago, was arrested on South Route 59, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license and operating a vehicle without insurance. His bond was $200.
Possession of cannabis
- Jose Lorenzo Renteria, 26, of the 300 block of Capital Drive in Sugar Grove, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. in the 1500 block of Raymond Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.
- Miguel Angel Reyes-Salazar, 27, of the 900 block of Liberty Street in Aurora, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. near West 75th Street and West Gartner Road, police said. He was charged with no rear registration, driving on a suspended/revoked license, illegal possession/transportation of liquor, possession of cannabis, operating a vehicle without insurance and two failure-to-appear warrants. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
Driving under the influence
- Joshua Thomas Williams, 29, of the 400 block of Raintree Drive in Oswego, was arrested at 2:41 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
- Adam David Munoz, 25, of the 2800 block of White Thorn Circle, was arrested at 1;57 a.m. near East 5th Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with illegal lane usage, violating lights and lamps act and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.
- Joseph L. Stipek, 23, of the 500 block of Cumberland Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:05 .am. near Plainfield Naperville Road and 95th Street, police said. He was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.
- Dallas Dwayne Vaughn, 40, of the 3500 block of South Seeley Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 4:16 a.m. near East Diehl Road and Centre Point Circle, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper parking on roadway. His bail was $3,000.
Leaving scene of accident
Lee A. Hernandez, 28, of the 100 block of Galena Boulevard in Aurora, was arrested at 4:05 p.m. near Freedom Drive and Independence Avenue, police said. He was charged with failure to reduce speed, operating a vehicle without insurance and leaving the scene of an accident. His bond was $200.
Bike stolen
A mountain bike was stolen from an open garage in the 4400 block of Clearwater Lane, police said.
Vanishing act
An unattended purse was stolen in approximately 10 seconds in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. The purse contained an iPhone 3, Versace prescription glasses, three debit cards, two credit cards, a checkbook, driver’s license and $15.
Keep the change
Three dollars in change was taken from a center console of a vehicle in the 1000 block of Langley Circle, police said.
Sunday, June 10Warrant arrest
Jame Matthew Morgan, 42, of the 400 block of Menominee Lane, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. in the 100 block of Douglas Avenue, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $1,000.
Theft
- Bruce Allen Bond, 48, of the 200 block of Harvest Court in Aurora, was arrested at 2:33 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.
- Ryan Scott Mlady, 25, of the 1800 block of Michigan Avenue, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road, police said. He was charged with theft of labor/service and theft. His bond was $150.
Suspended/revoked license
Adam Daiblo Martin, 19, of the 1200 block of Andover Circle, was arrested at 1:33 a.m. in the Wes 87th Street and Modaff road, police said. He was charged with driving on suspended/revoked license. His bond was $1,500.
Driving under the influence
- Javier Gallardo Cruz, 28, of the 800 block of North Bishop Street in Chicago, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. near Greene Ridge Drive and Yackley Avenue, police said. He was charged with failure to reduce speed, no driver’s license, fighting and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.
- Erskine E. Williams, 28, of the 25100 block of Thornberry Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 1:34 a.m. near East Diehl Road and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with endangering the health of a child, illegal possession/transportation of liquor, improper parking on a roadway and drivng under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.
- Abel Coss Duran, 24, of the 1200 block of Kings Cross in West Chicago, was arrested at 4:01 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Route 59, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.
Battery
- Ryan Jordan Woods, 24, of the 5100 block of Biscayne Avenue in Racine, was arrested at 5:02 a.m. in the 1700 block of Brookdale Road, police said. He was charged with battery. His bond was $150.
- Michael James Migawa, 22, of the 17400 block of Derwent Lane in Tinley Park, was arrested at 5:01 a.m. in the 1700 block of Brookdale Road, police said. He was charged with battery. His bond was $150.
Stolen property
- A lacrosse bag and equipment were stolen from a garage in the 2300 block of Nottingham Lane on June 6, police said.
- A city of Naperville commuter parking permit hang tag was stolen out of a vehicle on June 5, police said.
- Someone entered an unsecured vehicle in the 2200 block of Aurora Avenue between June 2 and 8, and stole numerous DVDs and three pairs of sunglasses, police said.
Joy ride
A vehicle that was secured in a garage was driven by someone while the family was out of the state on vacation between June 2 - 8 in the 2600 block of High Meadow Road, police said.
Bad day for cabbie
A suspect who didn’t have money to pay for his cab ride stole the cab driver's phone and ran when the driver went to call 911 in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road, police said.
Crafty thief
Someone opened up an allen wrench and used the wrench to remove a sawblade off a Rockwell Sonicrafter oscillating tool in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive. The suspect then placed the sawblade inside a package of another sawblade. Estimated loss is $139, police said.
Nearby communities
Kathy Marie Schillinger, 38, of the 1900 block of Seton Hall Drive was arrested on June 8 in the 100 block of Heathgate in Montgomery, Kendall County Sheriff's Office said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Schillinger was transported to Rush-Copley Hospital in Aurora after reportedly feeling ill. She was released on personal recognizance and remained in the hospital.
