Police Blotter: DUI, Retail Theft, Possession

Naperville Police Department reports, March 20

Tuesday, March 20

Warrant

  • Darin Cedric Miner, 43, of the 400 block of Brad Court, was arrested at 7:59 p.m. at his residence, the said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant and taken to DuPage County Jail. His bail was $5,000.
  • Police said Daniel Robert Ossander, 19, of the 1500 block of Conan Doyle Road, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. at his residence. He was charged on two failure to appear warrants. He was taken to DuPage County Jail. His bail was $31,500.
  • Corry Lee Mills, 36, of the 3500 block of North Sheffield Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. in the 800 block of Burlington Avenue in Downers Grove, police said. He was charged with telephone harassment and on a failure to appear warrant. His bail was $1,500.
  • Police said Corey Lamont Powell, 27, of the 500 block of Kiowa Drive, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 700 block of Gateshead Drive. He was charged with a failure to appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail. His bail was $3,000.

Unlawful use 

Philip Bertram Spence, 27, of the 1000 block of Charlela Lane in Elk Grove Village, was arrested at 6:06 p.m. in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with unlawful use of recorded sounds or images. He was taken to  the DuPage County Jail.

Retail theft

  • Carolyn Jean Clark, 61, of the 100 block of South Villa Avenue in Addison, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. in the 2900 block of Audrey Avenue, police said. She was charged with retail theft. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Ralph Willis Bell, 58, of the 5 South 100 block of Pebblewood Lane, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. in the 2900 block of Audrey Avenue, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bail was $1,500.

Possession

Adam Joseph Lewis, 25, of the 700 block of Lebanon Street in Aurora, was arrested at 12:19 a.m. near North River Road and Sunnybrook Drive, police said. He was charged with speeding, violating the lamps and lights act, driving an uninsured vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bail was $2,000.

Driving under the influence

Alexis Cigarroa-Hernandez, 22, of the 1200 block of Whispering Hills Court, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. near West 75th Street and Plainfield Naperville Road, police said. He was charged with speeding, illegal possession/transportation of liquor, no driver’s license and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to DuPage County Bond Court. His bail was $3,000.
